User Data Deletion

This page provides Meta-compatible user data deletion instructions and a general deletion request path for Marka users.

Request deletion from Marka

  1. Email info@marka.social from the address associated with your Marka account.
  2. Use the subject line "Data deletion request".
  3. Include the connected provider names you want removed, such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, or X.
  4. Do not include passwords or private account values.

What will be deleted

  • Connected social account metadata stored by Marka.
  • Stored connection records associated with the request, when present.
  • Brand context, drafts, approvals, and queue records tied to the user or tenant if requested.

Remove Meta app access

You can also remove Marka from your Facebook account settings by opening Facebook Settings, going to Apps and Websites, selecting Marka, and choosing remove. This revokes future access from Meta, but you should still email support if you want local Marka records deleted.

Timing

Deletion requests are acknowledged within 7 days after receipt and completed within 30 days unless a longer period is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or provider audit obligations.
